Water Control Management has 60+ years of experience helping large and small building owners reduce risk, realize operational savings and enhance the value of their clients’ assets. The principals behind Water Control Management found themselves continually crossing paths with our mandate: how to provide and deliver a suite of solutions that is centric to water.

Other mandates had come before our current set, and although they identified and delivered on a variety of building-centric energy solutions, they lacked a focus based upon water – or to be more specific, to help retro-fit the market where measurement, management, and conditioning of water methodologies are few and far between.

After listening to client concerns over the past decade, it has become apparent that water is an escalating expense; an expense clients feel they have little ability to control or positively affect.

Common Concerns:

• Escalating cost of water

• Inability to conserve when the behavior of consumption resides with others (tenants)

• The unintended effects of low quality water on heating and cooling equipment

• The effect of low quality water on energy costs

• Contamination risks

The current stable of solutions and future offerings to be provided by Water Control Management are the culmination of many trials and errors. The WCM team also utilizes old fashioned detective work, searching the globe for options that are bigger, better, faster, and cheaper. The team is a never ending supply of ideas on how to provide solutions that are low-risk, and high reward, for their clients.

Bob Langlois

Bob is an idea machine with the unique ability to create connections between people, partners, and problems. Bob’s presentation and approach are often direct, and always have an underlying mandate in order to use his ideas to advance others. His goal is to problem-solve, regardless of whether or not the problems have been identified.

The majority of Bob’s professional career has been in the field of property tax consulting, with a recent shift to the water sector. This transition is a natural extension of his client network and community he has continually served and supported. Bob fervently shares his ideas with clients and colleagues; with the goal of helping them efficiently reach the best solutions. This passion of realizing ideas for greater benefit led to the co-founding of Water Control Management: to ensure all those within his reach can measure, manage, and control the valuable resource of water; a resource that we in Canada have – for too long – taken for granted.
